Boater Airlifted to Trauma Center After Misstep

STONE HARBOR— South Star medevac was called to the 80th street ball field to airlift a female that fell from her boat onto a dock at the Yacht Club of Stone Harbor on Wednesday, July 22 around 12:20 p.m.
The flight crew reported the unidentified 47 year-old female was attempting to tie up her vessel when she misstepped and fell to the dock onto her face. The woman suffered facial and other injuries. She was transported to Atlanticare Regional Medical Center’s trauma unit in Atlantic City.
