OCEAN VIEW — A blown out tire caused a car to crash and roll over on Thur. Nov. 3, on the Garden State Parkway.
According to State Police, the vehicle was traveling southbound on the Parkway when a tire blew out, causing the driver to lose control of his vehicle at mile post 18.
The car then skidded onto the wooded median where it skirted along the tree line before hitting a ditch and flipping over.
The driver, the sole occupant of the vehicle, was not injured.
Responding to the scene were personnel from the Ocean View Volunteer Fire Department, Belleplain Rescue Squad and State Police.
