Bicyclist Struck in Hit and Run Accident in North Cape May

NORTH CAPE MAY— Lower Township police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in the vicinity of the PNC Bank at Bayshore and Townbank roads, Wed., April 24 at 1:49 a.m.
A bicyclist was struck while riding northbound on Bayshore Road and knocked to the ground.
A witness reported a gray-colored passenger vehicle had come up from behind the bicyclist, struck him with the passenger side mirror and continued northbound, fleeing the scene.
Anyone with information regarding the accident or noticing a dark gray-colored vehicle missing a passenger side mirror are urged to contact Patrolman Kevin Boyle at 609-886-1619, extension 194.
