AUDIO: ‘Mayday!’ CG Finds Flooded Fishing Boat, Crew Safe

SEA ISLE CITY — The Coast Guard has located a fishing boat crew May 7 and the boat they abandoned after it became disabled and started flooding about 34 miles off the coast here.
Located were Thanh Van Nguyen, 54, of Camden, and Cu V. Tran, 22, of Pennsauken.
A rescue boat crew from Coast Guard Station Cape May located the Master Les in Cape May harbor and took the two crew members who abandoned the fishing boat Alexander to the Coast Guard station.
Both men are reportedly in good health and in no need of medical attention.
A helicopter rescue crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City, located the abandoned fishing boat Alexander off the coast of Sea Isle City.
Earlier the Coast Guard provided a sound clip of the Mayday call for help.
