Wildwood Catholic Coach Earns 100th Win in Shutout

Wildwood Catholic boys soccer head coach Mike Saioni earned his 100th career win in Oct. 3's home game in Stone Harbor.

STONE HARBOR – The Wildwood Catholic High School boys’ soccer team hosted Cape May Tech on Oct. 3 and won, 4-0, giving Crusaders’ head coach Mike Saioni his 100th career win.
Saioni, a former soccer standout at Wildwood Catholic, began coaching at his alma mater in 2008. His overall record is 100-67-8 after Tuesday’s win.
Irving Fenochio led the way for the Crusaders by scoring three goals in the first half. Tyler Mericle added a goal with an assist.
Wildwood Catholic is 7-3 and at the top of the Cape-Atlantic League United Division heading into Friday’s game at Cedar Creek.
