In arena football action, Tom Cat Restaurant defeated Cafiero & Kaufmann, 47-44, Ethan Burke scored two touchdowns. Rayane Cherifi and Tyler Pine both scored. Matt Vodges, Brett Nabb and Nahir Tribbett scored two touchdowns for Cafiero.
Byrne Community Center defeated E. Troiano & Sons, 54-45. Ernie Troiano scored three touchdowns and Andrew Zielinski scored twice. Merle Hans-Hill and Fabian Colon scored two touchdowns each for Troiano.
Elks Lodge defeated Alfe’s Restaurant, 68-60. Sheldon Kilduff scored four touchdowns. Michael Sgrignoli had three interceptions and two touchdowns. Michael McGee led Alfie’s with three touchdowns.
F.M.B.A. defeated Chris Henderson Realty, 54-52. Tyler Tomlin scored three touchdowns including the game winner. Cade Vodges, Ava Vodges and Abbey Pruszinski each scored. Tommy Belansen scored four touchdowns for Henderson.
In indoor soccer action for grades 3-5, Morey’s Pier edged Crest Savings Bank, 13-12. Matthew Sgrignoli, Daniel Martin and Ava Troiano scored three goals each. Merle Hans-Hill Jr. recorded 17 saves and Matthew Sgrignoli had the game-winning goal in the shoot-out win. Chille Adams and Jimmy Kane had four goals each for Crest.
Wild Ocean topped Firehouse Tavern, 8-5. Juan Carlos Merino scored three goals while teammate John Carleo had 10 saves. Ivy Bolle scored two goals. Jack DelMonte had three goals and Lucas Gehring had eight saves for Firehouse.
In indoor soccer for grades 6-8, Shore Juice defeated Wild Ocean, 14-4. Sergio Miller and Alex Hunt had four goals each. Tyler Rulon added two goals and three assists. Andrew Cafiero scored two goals and Luke Rullo had eight saves for Ocean.
Ship-N-Shore defeated Morey’s Pier, 7-4. Jose Sanchez and Craig McClure scored two goals each and Tyler Tomlin recorded eight saves. Marlon Perez scored two goals and Corlen Vallese had two assists for Morey’s.
