WILDWOOD CREST – The following are results from recent games played in the Wildwood Crest Recreation summer basketball leagues:
HIGH SCHOOL LEAGUE
July 17
Smitty’s Parking Lots 74, Lunch with Lynch 40: Jared McKnight posted 15 points and Joel Robinson and Seamus Fynes each added 10 points for the winners. Robert Pasquarella canned nine points and Matthew Carrion added seven in the loss.
Alfe’s Restaurant 50, Casiello Construction 38: J.P. Baron (14) and Ernie Troiano IV (13) each scored in double figures for Alfe’s. Tommy Bolle had 15 points and Torey Harris chipped in 13 points in the loss.
Crestfully Clean 78, Big Time Vending 41: Josh Vallese led all scorers with 25 points and Alex Hunt added 16 points for Crestfully Clean. Preston Cafiero (13) and Declan Cassidy (10) led Big Time.
July 19
Alfe’s Restaurant 42, Crestfully Clean 34: J.P. Baron netted 21 points and Michael McGee chipped in eight points for Alfe’s. Tommy Belansen collected 14 points and Corlen Vallese added six points in the loss.
Smitty’s Parking Lots 77, Big Time Vending 43: Jimmy Kurtz pumped in 20 points and Dennis Cleary contributed 13 points for Smitty’s. Declan Cassidy (16) and Christian Short (10) paced Big Time.
Casiello Construction 56, Lunch with Lynch 44: Tommy Bolle exploded for 34 points and Torey Harris added 16 points for Casiello. Robert Pasquarello posted 14 points and Niko Pharma had 13 points in the loss.
GRADES 6-8 LEAGUE
July 16
Big Top Surfing Sundae 50, Dogtooth Bar & Grill 44: Junior Hans collected 22 points and Luke Basile added 11 points for the winners. Anthony Trombetta (24) and Jayden Howlett (13) led the Dogtooth.
Original Hot Spot 48, Duffer’s Ice Cream 38: Patrick McGuinn topped all scorers with 24 points and Carter Short chipped in eight points for Hot Spot. Jack DelMonte posted 10 points and Brayden Collins added seven points in the loss.
Cone Crazy 40, Domino’s Pizza 33: Eddie Fucci and Ryan Troiano each netted 11 points for Cone Crazy. Domino’s got nine points from Gavin Burns and six points from Michael Rachubinski.
July 18
Dogtooth Bar & Grill 53, Domino’s Pizza 36: Jayden Howlett (14), Anthony Trombetta (12) and Ahmed Djellal (12) each scored in double figures for the winners. Domino’s got nine points apiece from Gavin Burns and Lance Lillo.
Duffer’s Restaurant 54, Cone Crazy 48: Jack DelMonte, Kae’shon Mitchell and Kabron Mitchell led a balanced scoring attack for Duffer’s with 11 points apiece. Michael Zarfati topped all scorers with 21 points and Ryan Troiano added 11 points in the loss.
Big Top Surfing Sundae 61, Original Hot Spot 54: Junior Hans poured in 35 points and Brian Cunniff chipped in 10 points for the winners. Patrick McGuinn sank 26 points and Carter Short added eight points in the loss.
GRADES 3-5 LEAGUE
July 16
Adventurer Oceanfront Motel 18, Poppi’s Brick Oven Pizza 15: Theo Margarites sank seven points and Pat Mangold added four points in the win. Nicholas Hebert scored four points and Joe Wareham chipped in five points in the loss.
Wawa Markets 37, Saratoga Grill 31: Stephen Kmetz (11) and Quinn Reigher (10) each scored in double figures for the winners. Cole Copper netted 11 points and Gavin Ridgway contributed eight points in the loss.
July 18
Saratoga Grill 24, Poppi’s Brick Oven Pizza 20: Cole Cooper recorded eight points and Nolan Mawhinney chipped in five points for the winners. Nicholas Hebert netted six points and Joe Wareham contributed four points in the loss.
Wawa Markets 25, Adventurer Oceanfront Motel 23: Stephen Kmetz led all scorers with 20 points for the winners. Trevor Troiano had 15 points and Michael Blanda chipped in four points for Adventurer.
