The United States Futsal Association played at Wildwoods Convention Center Feb. 13 and 14. There were about 200 coaches directing 215 teams and about 2,200 athletes.
The teams came from throughout the Northeast and as far as Canada.
The New Jersey Futsal Association integrates Futsal leagues with existing soccer programs throughout the state at the youth and amateur levels. The association works in conjunction with the New Jersey State Youth Soccer Association and the New Jersey State Soccer Association to further develop the skills of the state’s youth players.
Futsal provides a lot of entertainment for all who participate. Since everyone on a Futsal team must work together as one entity the most important concept is to promote teamwork. Together they can produce the best soccer players.
