PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph’s University head men’s basketball coach Phil Martelli will return to Avalon, N.J., for the fourth consecutive year to hold two sessions of his basketball clinic from June 22 to 25 and from August 3 to 6.
The “For Players Only” Clinic is for boys and girls ages 8 to 17 of all skill levels. It will run from 8 to 11 a.m. each day at the 8th Street outdoor courts in Avalon. The camp will be limited to 60 players with instruction provided by Coach Martelli and Saint Joseph’s director of basketball operations Rob Sullivan. The cost is $225.
If necessary, rain dates for the camps will be June 26 and August 7.

Martelli has been the head coach of the Hawks for 20 seasons and is the program’s all-time leader in career victories with 375. He was the National Coach of the Year in 2004 and has been chosen as the Atlantic 10 Coach of the Year four times.
