Middle Township Falls in Close Game

COURT HOUSE – In Friday night action on Sept. 29, the Middle Township football team fell 20-12 at home to Gloucester Catholic.
The visiting Rams looked to lead 13-0 in the first half when Karl Giulian scored a 7-yard touchdown to bring the Panthers within one touchdown. Giulian then scored on a 15-yard run in the third quarter to get the team within one point. The Rams scored early in the fourth quarter to eventually secure the win.
Middle Township is now 2-3 and will travel to Triton (2-1) Friday night. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Runnemede.
