Golf Tournament to Benefit Lower Cape May Sports Teams

The Lower Cape May Baseball Boosters, Girl’s Lacrosse and Field Hockey teams will be holding a benefit Caper Tiger Scramble Golf Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 4 at Cape May National Golf Club. Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. Following the golf tournament, there will be a Food & Drink Night at the Cape May VFW from 6 to 10 p.m. Proceeds will go toward program improvements including building new dugouts and a press box on the varsity baseball field.
The cost for the golf tournament and Food & Drink Night is $100. Tickets for the Food & Drink Night only are $25. There will be prizes for closest to the pin, long drive and the winning foursome, as well as various other raffle prizes.
