The Sixth Annual High School Boys Tennis Tournament was held at the Historic Cape May Tennis Club on April 4. The event included competitors from Lower Cape May Regional, Middle Township and Wildwood Catholic high schools, plus a team from Jenkinton High School in Penna., coached by Cape May County resident, Joanne Stillman.
Team Champion was Middle Township, coached by Head Coach, Matt Gilbert.
First Doubles Champions were Middle Township’s Dylan Hughes and Andrew Sellers. Second Singles Champion was Middle Township’s Eddie Obropta. First Singles Champion was Middle Township’s Joel Novick. Second Doubles Champions were Middle Township’s BJ Masterangelo and Conor McNicholas.
Third Singles Champion was Lower Cape May Regional’s Andrew Betz, coached by Greg Douglass. Lower Cape May Regional was a team finalist.
