In girls’ games, the U-10 Surf met Mantua. Eva Dimitrov and Ava Southard scored. McKenna Gregory and Kira Fleming were strong on defense.
The U-12 Comets dropped a 2-1 decision to Medford. Jordan Dougherty scored on an assist from Madison Haring. Anna Bond, Carmen Licata and Morgan Adams played strong offensive. Isabella Aftanis, Rayona Wagner and Mia Caso led the defense.
The U-14 Stingrays defeated Burlington Township, 4-1. Nadine Coyle scored all four goals. Marissa Giancola was strong in net. Ashley and Megan Gereaghty, Suzanne McInnes and Winter Favre were solid at fullback.
In boys’ games, the U-8 Riptide handled Haddon Heights. Julian Weidman and Connor Rowlands were strong in the midfield while David Delconte led the offense. Sam Ritti and Brandyn Acevedo shared keeper duties.
The U-9 Breakers challenged Cherry Hill. Macky Bonner scored on a cross from Noah Plenn. Jack DelMonte sent a through ball to Macky Bonner who finished for another first half score. Plenn scored and Bonnor scored in the second half. Ethan Morford was strong in goal.
The U-10 Blitz took on Swedesboro-Woolwich. Devon Bock opened the scoring for the Blitz on an assist from Jimmy Kane. Evan Merritt found the back of the net on a crossing pass from Danial Kotb. Aidan Miller, Andrew Barber and Ryan Dougherty were strong on defense. Drew Nelson was solid in net.
The U-10 Blitz also played Northern Burlington. Santino Lomas was strong in goal. Danial Kotb scored the first of two goals off a corner kick from Evan Merritt. Kotb’s second goal came on a breakaway pass from Jimmy Kane. Drew Nelson scored on a rebound shot off of the keeper. Emerich Scamoffa was strong on defense.
The U-10 Thunderbolts laid the wood to Lumberton. Steven Berrodin, Landon Osmundson, and Toby Worster scored. Jason Campbell and Aidan Farrell were strong in goal.
The U-11 Union defeated Washington, 1-0. Ryan Turner registered the shutout. Troy Genaro, Mace Fiorucci, Brendan David and Mat Hays were strong on defense. Tommy Carr intercepted a ball at midfield and passed to Chile Adams who scored with less than a minute to play.
The U-12 United stopped Moorestown, 2-0. Max Gilbert scored two goals. Colby Watts, T.J. Shoffler and Conner Bezaire were solid. Braiden Scarpa recorded the shutout.
