K-9 Rescued After Falling Through Ice in Marmora

MARMORA– Marmora Fire Department was dispatched to an animal rescue at 9:21 a.m. on Friday, Feb 5.
9-1-1 was called when a dog reported to be a Husky fell through the ice on a private lake located here at 20 Glory Rd.
Marmora Fire Department launched a rescue boat to rescue the K-9. At 9:29 a.m. the K-9 was out of the water and returned to the owners, according to radio reports.
The Upper Township Rescue Squad were on standby at the scene.
