Wildwood Crest Establishes Wellness Committee

WILDWOOD CREST – The Borough of Wildwood Crest has appointed seven members to its new Wellness Committee. The appointments were made by resolution at the March 21 meeting of the Wildwood Crest Board of Commissioners.
The Wellness Committee consists of seven volunteer members, three of whom are employees of the borough and four of whom are residents of the borough. Employee members include Wellness Committee coordinator Nicholas Holland, Patricia Feketics and James Grauel. Resident members include Linda Bakos, Joseph Cusella, Laura Farrall and Zachary Ruffo.
Wellness Committee members have been appointed to serve through Dec. 31, 2019. The committee will meet the first Tuesday of each month (excluding June, July and August) at 4:30 p.m. in the courtroom of Wildwood Crest Borough Hall. Meetings are open to the public. The committee’s first meeting is scheduled for April 3.
The purpose of the Wellness Committee is to create a community initiative to promote healthy and active living through exercise, proper nutrition and more. The committee will work in concert with the Wildwood Crest Recreation Department to help establish programs and activities designed to promote health and wellness in the borough.
