Early-Stage Alzheimer’s Forum to be Held at Cape Regional

COURT HOUSE – There will be an Early-Stage Forum for people with early changes related to Mild Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimer’s Disease or other dementias Sept. 25 at Cape Regional Medical Center from 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The forum will be held in Classrooms A & B located on the ground floor of the Medical Center.
Registration and light refreshments will begin at 9:00 a.m. Family members are invited to attend; however, they cannot attend without the person with the memory-related changes. This educational event is being presented by the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association. Dr. Christine Gada-Chelder will be the guest speaker. You will learn about Mild Cognitive Impairment, Alzheimer’s Disease and other types of dementias, ways to enhance communication and daily living; and you will have the opportunity to talk with others who have similar memory changes.

The Parish Nurse Program and the Center for Lifestyle Management at Cape Regional Medical Center provides free health screenings at the Medical Center and throughout the Cape May County Community.
