Aunjuli Hicks, the daughter of proud parents Lena and William Hicks, Jr, graduated from Walden University with a Ph.D in Psychology. Dr. Hicks is a licensed mental health clinician and nationally certified, and has over 16 years of experience in the field counseling, consulting, life coaching, and contracts. She also has a thriving mental health practice called Hicks Group: Alternative Mental Health in Maplewood, New Jersey. There she provides individual, family, & couples therapy to adults, children, and adolescents. Aunjuli has a Master’s in Human Services/Professional Counseling, and her BA in Social Work from Rutgers University.
Dr. Hicks’ dissertation, titled “Quantitative Study of Multimodal Expressive Art and Middle School Children Classified as Emotionally Disturbed,” is published in the digital ProQuest® Dissertation and Thesis Database and her abstract is available at the Dissertation Abstracts International.
Raised in Cape May County Dr. Hicks attended Middle Township High School and graduated in the year 1993. Her mother, Lena Hicks, adds “Congratulations, Aunjuli, on your future endeavors. We love you very much. May God continue to bless you.”
