County Clerk’s Office to Continue Closure in Wake of COVID-19 Situation, Executive Orders

COURT HOUSE – The Cape May County Clerk’s Office will continue to be closed to the public until further notice due to emergency proclamations in place in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

 

According to a release, the Cape May County Clerk’s Office continues with a little staff working internally to conduct normal business operations. Clerk Rita Marie Fulginiti anticipates that necessary services may be completed via telephone 609-465-1010, internet and regular mail. 

 

Title Searchers may avail themselves to online records access data bases at www.capemaycountyclerk.com. Contact the Record Room staff with requests for records which are not online. Call 609 465 1023. 

 

Deliveries of documents by courier or in person are directed to our 7 North Main St., Cape May Court House front entrance. 

 

The vestibule doors will be opened during regular hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Passport applicants, notaries public and couples requesting marriage ceremonies are asked to call for a future appointment. 

 

Emergency situations will be handled on a case by case basis, Fulginiti concluded.
