Avalon Rescue Offers Free CPR/AED Training

AVALON — Avalon Rescue Squad is offering free training geared towards individuals with minimal or no experience
and will train the student to perform CPR and utilize a defibrillator (AED) in advance of first responders.
It is recommended for persons who work in or frequent locations where Public Access Defibrillators have been placed.
This course will include the 2006 Guidelines for CPR and Defibrillation. This is not the healthcare provider level certification.
Any interested person is welcome to attend Dec. 5 from 6-9 p.m. at Avalon Fire House, second floor (elevator available) 31st and Dune Drive
The course is accredited by American Heart Assn. Heartsaver AED (2006 version)
Registration is required. Phone 368-5288 to sign up.
