The AMI Foundation’s Dr. Jan Astin Mobile Digital Mammography Van will visit 14 locations in seven New Jersey counties in October. The schedule is as follows:

October 25 – New York Ave. School, Atlantic City
October 31 – Atlantic County Health Services, Northfield

October 5 – Subaru of America, Cherry Hill
Cape May County
October 4 – Autumn Lake Healthcare at Oceanview, Ocean View
Cumberland County
October 26 – Durand Glass, Millville
Gloucester County
October 7 – St. Matthews Church, Williamstown
Hudson County
October 12 – Hudson Nissan, Jersey City
Ocean County
October 10 – Gateway Toyota, Toms River
October 30 – LBI Health Dept. (St. Francis Community Center), Long Beach Island
Appointments are encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. A prescription may not be needed. Please call the scheduling department at (609) 677-XRAY (9729) to make an appointment and to confirm hours of operation for specific locations.
The screenings are for women 40+ with no current or past breast issues. Screenings are processed through their insurance.
The AMI Foundation’s Dr. Jan Astin Mobile Digital Mammography Van travels throughout southeastern New Jersey to make breast cancer screening easier and more convenient. The custom-built, 38-foot van is completely self-contained. In addition to offering the latest digital mammography equipment, the van provides a comfortable waiting area and a private dressing room.
The mobile van’s radiology services are accredited by the American College of Radiology and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. Mammography images are read by board-certified fellowship trained radiologists at Atlantic Medical Imaging.
