Wildwoods predict ‘best’ 60s Weekend

Tickets for the 2009 Sensational ’60s Weekend, April 24 – 26, are available.
Entertainers for the concert Saturday, April 25 at the Wildwoods Convention Center will feature Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone, Felix Cavaliere’s Rascals, and The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie.
“This will be the best ’60s weekend we have hosted,” said Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Tracey DuFault. “We are so excited to welcome these entertainers back to the Wildwoods and we know that this will be a concert that will be remembered for a very long time.”
The chamber will have a weekend full of activities.
Starting Friday, April 24, Jerry “The Geator” Blavat will entertain the crowd at the Sensational ’60s Record Hop at the Wildwoods Convention Center.
Saturday, April 25 there will be a free street fair at Fox Park, complete with food vendors, a classic car show, craft vendors, fun contests, doo wop bus tour, and live entertainment featuring Soul Explosion, The Robert Murdock Band, and Full House.
On Sunday, April 26, there will be a free concert in North Wildwood, featuring Full House and The Large Flowerheads.
