MARMORA – Trinity United Methodist Church in Marmora will host a classical guitar recital, June 14, 2015 at 4:00 p.m., featuring internationally acclaimed classical guitarist Yoshinobu Iwanaga.
Iwanaga graduated from Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris and has won several awards for his playing, including first prize in the International Guitar Competition of Gargnano, Italy and second prize in the 20th International Guitar Competition of Paris, France. He performs throughout North America, Europe and Asia where he is widely acclaimed for his exceptional talent and virtuosity. In 2012, Iwanaga became the president of the Association of Japan Asia Guitar Education and continues to promote guitar education in Asia.
Admission is free and includes a light supper immediately following the concert in the Trinity Fellowship Hall. A love offering will be collected during the concert.
