Bach’s Goldberg Variations will be presented at Music at Bunker Hill’s second concert of the season on Oct. 23 at 8 p.m.
Normally performed on the piano, this work will be presented in a new arrangement for string trio.
Angelia Cho, violin, William Frampton, viola, and David Huckaby on cello come to South Jersey from New York City and St. Paul, Minnesota to offer the Bach variations, Schubert’s Trio for Strings no. 1 in B flat major, D 471, and Kurtág’s Signs, Games and Messages.
The concert is at Bunker Hill Presbyterian Church, 330 Greentree Road in Washington Township—an intimate venue with exceptional acoustics.
Tickets may be purchased at the door for $20 (adult) and $15 (senior/student). Driving directions and discounts for advance ticket purchase can be found at www.musicatbunkerhill.org.
Plentiful parking and free post-concert reception with the artists complete the night.
