NORTH CAPE MAY – The Cape May-Lewes Ferry held its 50th anniversary celebration June 28 with a full day of free, family-friendly festivities including a classic car show, face painting, appearances by Pirate Pete and live entertainment. Other special events included a dedication ceremony and screenings of WHYY’s Cape May-Lewes Ferry documentary. The festivities continued on-board the ferry with live music.
