MAC Hosts Authors for Carriage House Book Signing Event

By Press Release

CAPE MAY – Two New Jersey authors, Karen Fox and Carole Robinson, will be greeting members of the public and signing copies of their books at the Carriage House Gallery Shop at the Emlen Physick Estate on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Karen Fox, author of The Chalfonte, tells the fascinating history of The Chalfonte Hotel, the famous Cape May landmark, relaying the “heroes, heartaches, legends, love affairs and unforgettable characters behind the hotel that became an American treasure.” Fox lives in Cape May and Blue Bell, Pa., and has had an accomplished career as a television news editor, writer, assignment manager and documentary producer.
Carole Robinson, author of On the Way to Cape May, tells the story of Ashley and Emily who are on a visit to New Jersey for “Camp Pop Pop and Grandmom.” The story relates the pair’s adventures with their grandparents as they go on a whirlwind tour around southern New Jersey that includes a stop at the famous Cape May Lighthouse.
Aimed at readers aged 9-12, On the Way to Cape May tells the heartwarming story of encounters with zedonks, pigmy goats and a donkey. Robinson resides in Burlington County with her husband and is an avid blogger at www.remindsmeofthetime.blogspot.com. The Carriage House Gallery Shop is located at the Emlen Physick Estate, 1048 Washington St., Cape May. On the Way to Cape May, published in 2011 by Tate Publishing Enterprises, and The Chalfonte, published in 2011 by Exit Zero Publishing, are both available for purchase at the shop.
