Free workshops at Historic Cold Spring Village

By On Deck Staff

With autumn here and the holidays fast approaching, it’s the best time of year to visit the Country Store at Historic Cold Spring Village.
Featuring unique and handmade artisan wares, toys that operate without batteries, heritage goods, and old-fashioned treats, the Country Store is stocked with a wide range of affordable gift selections.
In addition to holding weekend hours from Oct. 10 until Dec. 20, the store will be holding a series of free special events and workshops. Weekend business hours will be 11a.m.-3 p.m.
Store special events include:
October
10-11 and 24-25—Easy mitten knitting class (Limited to six; advance registration).
November
21-22—Advanced mitten knitting class. Knit two at one time (Limited to six; advance registration).
28-29—Thanksgiving Weekend without the hassle. Shop while enjoying hot mulled cider and cookies.
December
