By Press Release

AVALON – The Summer Studio will be welcoming Avalon Native Monica Zane for an evening of Art, Music and Mionetto Prosecco on July 2nd at 6pm. Original paintings and limited edition prints inspired by Avalon landscapes and seascapes will be on view this evening and through the months of July and August. Everyone is welcome.
The Summer Studio is located at 2089 Ocean Drive (Corner of 21st Street) Avalon NJ.
Monica Zane began a career in the arts studying the natural landscapes and seascapes of Avalon NJ. With a quest to diversify in the arts she was awarded a two year dance scholarship at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center. She toured Europe with the musical “Cats” (in German and English) and spent a few years singing (in French and Italian) in an orchestra in Monte Carlo. She has sung in various Jazz clubs in NYC and wrote, produced and starred in a One-Woman Show that had a run at The Grove St. Playhouse, The Bowery Poetry Club, and The Cape May Theatre. Throughout her travels and extensive theater and film work, she has continued to paint showing her artwork in Galleries, in benefits, in films and television (most recently 5 paintings were featured on USA Network’s “Royal Pains”) and in the homes of over a hundred commissioned portraits. Her most recent juried art show in NYC, the 114th Catharine Lorillard Wolfe Show benefiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art Travel & Research Fund, led to an invitation to become a member of The National Arts Club.
