Billed as “America’s Hottest Illusionist,” Jason Bishop is doing cutting-edge illusions like no one ever before at the Stockton Performing Arts Center, Oct. 29.
Show time is 7:30 p.m. Tickets are priced at $40 and $25 and may be ordered online at www.stockton.edu/pac or by calling the Box Office at 609-652-9000.
The Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and an hour and a half before the performance. For Group Sales, call 609-652-4786.
Jason Bishop is well-known for turning a $1 bill into a $100 bill, then giving it to an audience member. However, that feat is small compared to the other grand illusions his show features.
Bishop is currently the only illusionist in the U.S. to tour with the rare Double Levitation, Plasma Illusion and Op-Art. His award-winning sleight-of-hand and “close-up” magic is captured live and projected onto overhead screens for the audience to have a clear view of every detail.
Bishop is an internationally-recognized illusionist who was the youngest person to win the Magician’s Alliance of Eastern States Stage Award and one of the youngest people to compete in the Society of American Magicians World-Class competition.
In 2007, he was honored by his peers with the prestigious “Jack Gwynne Award for Excellence in Presentation.” The previous year, college campuses voted him “Best Performing Artist of the Year.”
The Stockton Performing Arts Center offers wheelchair accessible seating, large type programs, and listening assistive devices. Please identify any needs you may have when making a reservation.
Stockton Performing Arts Center is on the campus of The Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Jim Leeds Road in Pomona (Galloway Township).
