HADFIELD, JENNIE A.
Jennie A. Hadfield, 98 of Sea Isle City, NJ passed away peacefully on Good Friday, April 18, 2025. She was born in Somerdale, NJ to the late Paul and Lucy DeVaro Arno. She raised her family in Barrington, NJ and worked as a Bookkeeper for Interboro Savings & Loan. She moved permanently to Sea Isle City in 1985. Jennie was an active member of St. Joseph Church where she served as Eucharistic Minister, the Bereavement Committee, and as a member of Catholic Daughters of America. She was also a member of the Sea Isle City Garden Club, Magnolia Lake Questers, and volunteered at the Sea Isle City Historical Museum. Above all, Jennie deeply loved her family and friends and cherished her time with all of them. Her warm smile and caring nature will be missed by all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband John Hadfield in 2008. She is also predeceased by her son Joseph Hadfield and brother Louis Arno.
Jennie is survived by her children: Michael (Suzanne) Hadfield, Mary H. Deal, and Donna Hadfield; her brother Paul Arno; grandchildren, great grandchildren and extended family; as well as her 'sweet patootsie' Maisy.
Services will be Friday, April 25, 2025 at St. Joseph Church, 4308 Landis Avenue, Sea Isle City, NJ 08243. Viewing will be 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Cape May County Veterans Cemetery.
