GRIESBACH, HERMAN ROBERT 5/21/1948 – 1/4/2024 H. Robert (Bob) Griesbach passed from this life on January 4, 2024 at the age of 75. A lifelong resident of N. Cape May, NJ, he was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Karen L. Griesbach (Frantz) and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman R. Griesbach. He is survived by his brother, Joseph H. Griesbach and brother in law, John E. Frantz (Karene), niece, Anna Frantz Heron (Joseph), nieces and nephews. Bob graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School in 1967. He earned a degree in Ornamental Horticulture from Delaware State University in 1971. Employed by Cape May County Vocational Schools, he taught agricultural related subjects. He later became Building and Grounds Supervisor, retiring in 2006. Many people in South Jersey will remember Bob's Christmas holiday light display for which he won several awards and delighted children and adults alike with spectacular lighted creations. His endless hours of building, improving, repairing, dismantling was repaid by the joy and excitement of smiling faces and notes and gifts of thanks for his work. We will miss the lights. We will miss him.
