FARRELL, JOHN DAVID
John David Farrell, 71, passed away after an extraordinarily heroic battle with esophageal cancer, on June 22, 2024
John was born on August 27, 1952 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and grew up in Binghamton, NY. He obtained a college education at University of Colorado and University of Dayton, Ohio.
John's career in the construction field spanned five decades. As Project Manager of Tishman Construction he was instrumental in the construction of the Borgata, Tropicana, Ocean Resorts, Bally's Wild West Casino, the Atlantic City Convention Center, and many other projects in the Philadelphia area.
His love of music and his Martin Guitars were paramount. John was a handy man who could fix or make anything. He created beautiful gardens on “The Farrell Farm.” John enjoyed fine dining with his wife, Nadine, traveling to lovely settings, leisurely walks on the beach and spending joyful times with loved ones and family.
John is survived by his wife Nadine, daughters Christina and Danielle, and grand-daughter Gianna. He also leaves behind his brothers Stephen (Denise), Patrick (Kathleen), sister Susan (Michael) Cerretani, sisters-in-law Karine Masone and Marlene Hornstein, brother-in-law Bob Masone (Virginia) and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. John was a kind, generous soul with a heart of gold.
A 10 AM mass will be held at Sacred heart Church, 25th Street W and 1st Avenue, Avalon on Saturday, July 13th.
A celebration of John's life will be held at St. Pauls R.C. Church, 282 Chenango Street, Binghamton, NY on Monday July 15th, 2024 with calling hours from 9-10, Mass at 10, followed by the procession in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City, NY and a luncheon at The Relief Pitcher Restaurant in Binghamton from 12:30-3 pm.

LANOCE, JR. VALENTINO JOSEPH Valentino Joseph Lanoce, Jr, age 92 of Jensen Beach, Florida and Wildwood, New Jersey passed away on December 30, 2024, at his home in Jensen Beach, Florida. Valentino was born on October 2, 1932, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Valentino Lanoce, Sr. and Antoinette (Secreta) Lanoce.
