Dates Set for Wildwoods Tree Lightings

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be outside the Wildwoods Convention Center on Saturday, Dec. 14. to assist in the tree lighting ceremony, which begins at 4:30 p.m.

WILDWOOD – Get ready to celebrate the start of the holiday season in the Wildwoods this December by attending four tree lighting ceremonies across the Five Mile Island. Each event will feature festive treats, holiday music, photos with Santa, and lasting family memories!

Tuesday, December 3

Wildwood Crest Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony — Visit Sunset Lake at Atlanta and New Jersey Avenues in Wildwood Crest at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3. The tree lighting ceremony will kick off the Christmas season in the borough. Enjoy music, light refreshments, a visit from Santa Claus and more! Friday, December 6

Wildwood Business Improvement District Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony — Visit Byrne Plaza, in downtown Wildwood at approximately 8:00 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6. This event takes place amidst the Greater Wildwood Jaycees Christmas in the Plaza Festival, just after the Christmas Parade and awards ceremony taking place in Byrne Plaza. Stop by the festival on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 6 and 7, with the whole family. For more information, call 609-729-5501.

Saturday, December 7

North Wildwood Tree Lighting — This ceremony will take place at the Hereford Inlet Lighthouse Courtyard, at First and Central Avenues in North Wildwood, at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7. The Christmas tree lighting event includes holiday music by Margaret Mace School Choir, refreshments, a self-guided tour of the lighthouse as well as visits from Santa and Mrs. Claus! Saturday, December 14

Wildwoods Convention Center Tree Lighting — The Wildwoods Tourism Authority will illuminate the Wildwoods Convention Center Christmas tree culminating the Family Holiday Celebration taking place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to assist in the tree lighting ceremony, which begins at 4:30 p.m. in front of the Wildwoods Convention Center. For more information call 609-729-9000.
