Woodbine to Host Energy Expo, May 19

WOODBINE – The Office of the Customer Advocate will hold an “Energy Expo” May 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Woodbine Community Center, 812 Longfellow Street, Woodbine.
Available programs: Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP); Universal Service Fund (USF); Temporary Relief for Utility Expenses (TRUE) and Payment Assistance Gas and Electric (PAGE); NJ Shares (NJS); NJ Lifeline; Helping Hands Energy Assistance Program.

“I encourage all local residents interested in preparing for and managing their energy bills during this time of tough economy and record job-loss to attend this Energy Expo and sign up for applicable energy assistance programs,” urged Mayor Pikolycky. “I thank the Puerto Rican Action Committee of Southern New Jersey and all other agencies involved in organizing this event.”
