Woodbine Students Start Spring by Walking to School

WOODBINE – On March 20, Woodbine Elementary School students and staff celebrated the first day of spring with the Walking School Bus.
According to a release, students met staff members at two different locations and practiced walking and roadway safety. The Walking School Bus is in partnership with Safe Routes to Schools program and the borough. Monthly Walking School Bus events will also be held for the remainder of the school year.
“Walking School Bus not only teaches students safety but encourages healthy walking experiences,” stated Mayor William Pikolycky.
