For eight years, we have had the same elected officials in Wildwood and two of them, Mayor Ernie Troiano and Commissioner Pete Byron, who are now running against each other, want you to give them and their hand-picked running mates four more years. Don’t do it.
Don’t do it because they are both abusing the public trust by taking health insurance benefits, which are only allowed for full-time elected officials – while they are only part-time, costing taxpayers almost half a million dollars.
Don’t do it because they have each abused the public trust by voting to give city contracts to vendors who gave them private work.
Don’t do it because eight years is enough with nothing to show for it but higher taxes.
Don’t do it because you have a choice: Tim Blute, Michele Lopez, and Robert Dilks. These are three new people running together as a team who are dedicated to the Wildwood community, will work together for the residents and taxpayers and who will never abuse your trust.
Tim Blute is a property inspector for the City of Wildwood and as commissioner will continue to clean up the city and make it a safer place.
Michele Lopez is a real estate agent, who is dedicated to cutting the city budget where possible without cutting services.
Robert Dilks, “Bobby D,” is a bartender, who works hard for his money and does not like it going to taxes. Bobby is committed to increasing ratables to stabilize taxes.
A vote for Blute, Lopez and Dilks is a vote to clean out City Hall and start fresh with a team that works together for the residents and taxpayers, and will never abuse the public’s trust. The time is now.
Please do not miss this opportunity Nov. 5. Your vote is more important than ever because this election will likely be decided by only a few votes. Please vote for a better Wildwood by voting Column Three: Blute, Lopez and Dilks. Thank you.
Paid for by Committee to Elect Blute, Lopez and Dilks, 5007 Park Blvd., Wildwood, NJ 08260.
