Wildwood Crest Recreation Announces Trunk or Treat Winners

WILDWOOD CREST — The Wildwood Crest Recreation Department hosted a large crowd at its annual Trunk or Treat Halloween season family event Oct. 29. The event was held in the parking lot of the Crest Pier Recreation Center.
Adults decorated the backs of their vehicles for Halloween and distributed candy to children dressed in Halloween costumes. Approximately 750 people attended the event, which included 18 decorated vehicles.
The Wildwood Crest Volunteer Fire Department also took part in the event.
Winners of the vehicle-decorating contest were awarded prizes. They included:
First place – Karin Nichols, Rio Grande.
Second place – Kobierowski family, Wildwood Crest.
Third place – Diane Devlin, West Wildwood.
Fourth place – Jon Paxton and Maisie Hahn, Wildwood.
