The Cloverbuds are a group of K-3rd graders who meet once a month in Cape May Court House at Rutgers Cooperative Extension. We have learned about many new topics this year. We learned how to grow tomatoes from our Master Gardener friend Gerry McManus who is an expert. Our friends from the Milky Ways Club came by with some rabbits. We learned so much about bunnies! We also had time for some community service. We cleaned up the Fairgrounds in the fall, donated food to the local food bank and maintained our garden on the Fairgrounds. We also participated in public presentations, and that was a great night. The Needle and Thread club stopped by, told us about their club and gave us a quick lesson on how to sew on a button. We also learned about birds and made bird feeders. As you can see, our club has been busy and we are looking forward to an exciting time next year.
