Sen. Robert Andrzejczak, Assemblyman Bruce Land, and Assemblyman Matt Milam (all D-1st) announced Sept. 25 that they have been endorsed by the Policemen’s Benevolent Association (PBA), Firefighter’s Mutual Benevolent Association (FMBA), the Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), and the Professional Firefighters Association of New Jersey (PFANJ).
“As a veteran, I understand the importance of putting your life on the line for the greater good,” stated Andrzejczak. “I always knew there was risk in joining the Army, and despite losing my leg in Iraq I would do it again to keep our nation safe. It is with that spirit of sacrifice that police and firefighters approach every single shift. We greatly value their endorsement.”
“Our first responders embody the selfless notion of putting a cause above self,” stated Land. “Having served in Vietnam, I know firsthand that those who protect society are not always appreciated. Public safety workers know that they have allies in Bob, Matt and me, and there’s nothing we won’t do in the legislature to keep them safe and honor their tremendous courage.”
“We are proud to have secured the endorsements of some of the largest public safety unions in the state,” stated Milam. “It will never be lost on us the sacrifices they make every day. They put their lives on the line to keep our families safe, and it means a great deal that they have recognized us as legislators who have their back.”
