Take a yoga class, build a birdhouse or learn to dance at Cape May Tech

Banish those winter blahs or jump start your New Year’s resolutions with a fun evening school class at the Cape May County Technical School District.
Several new classes are being offered this semester including 3D Modeling and Animation, Gentle Yoga and massage and dozens of other classes in Irish dancing, home repair, photography and psychic secrets.
Tap into your creativity with art and crafts classes that include stained glass, watercolors, jewelry design or quilting.
Need to work off some of those extra holiday pounds? Try the Kukuwa dance workout for all fitness levels or a weight training program. Determined to start a healthy eating regime? Sign up for a cooking light or a vegetarian class to learn some great recipes and ideas for meals. Or think spring with bird house building, a new class for children and parents to do together, or outboard motor servicing.
The Evening School brochure has a complete listing of technical courses, licensing programs plus vocational and avocational classes with descriptions and other information. Brochures are available at the registration office in Room 145 of the Tozour Building, 188 Crest Haven Road, Court House and library branches around the county.
For senior citizens, 60 and older, the registration fee for non-licensing/certified courses is half the posted fee plus any material, supplies or book fees for the course. Classes begin Jan. 20 and run through March 30.
In-person registration at the school is Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Dec. 22, until 11:30 a.m. Dec. 23, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 28 to 31 and 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 4 to 12. with evening hours until 7 p.m. on Jan. 13, 14, and 19. The registration office is closed Dec. 24 and 25; Jan. 1 and 18.
