Stone Harbor Concert Series Continues with Hawkins Road

STONE HARBOR — The Tuesdays at the Tower: Stone Harbor Concert Series continues this Tues., Aug. 11, Hawkins Road. The Borough of Stone Harbor and Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce invites the public to attend this free 90 minute concert that begins at 7:00 p.m. in the Water Tower Plaza, on 95th Street & Second Ave in Stone Harbor, New Jersey.
This Tuesday’s concert will feature one of the region’s most popular country and country rock dance bands, Hawkins Road. Performing country-rock classics and popular dance hits, including classics by Lynyrd Skynyrd, the Allman Brothers Band and other Southern Rock classics. Hawkins Road is comprised of drummer Jimmy Glenn, bassist Rich Kurtz, acoustic guitarist Brian Conover, and the searing lead guitars of Danny Eyer and Ernie Trionfo. Local band Hawkins Road has been playing country, rock, reggae and blues in the South Jersey area for over 20 years.
The band expresses their excitement, “This is sure to be a great night. We’re looking forward to seeing old friends and making lots of new ones.” There will be a Beer and Wine Garden available by 6:30pm and a snack stand, courtesy of the Stone Harbor Museum, will compliment. Join us as we rock out to the rhythmic and rockin’ sounds of Hawkins Road. Bring your own lawn chairs or blankets and come kick up your feet and enjoy your night under the stars!
