The Star Hollow Riders 4-H Club has had fabulous, fun year learning all about horses! We began the year with an awesome start by holding our annual Halloween “stall or treat.” This event is our club’s fundraiser. We decorate our farm super spooky and even dress up our horses in costumes!
Everyone gets the opportunity to “trick or treat” at each of our horses’ stalls! Come join us next Halloween!!! Every year for Christmas we stuff as many shoe boxes as possible with goodies and donate them to our local church for kids in need. This year, every club meeting we held had very informative and we learned so much about horses.
A few things we learned include proper vaccination protocol, deworming and testing manure for dangerous sand, and last but not least we learned about our local horse rescue that places horses at our farm! Our club got to work with the rescue horses and gave them lots of love and attention! We had a fabulous year and we can’t wait to see you at the 4-H Fair on July 18, 19 and 20.
