Stanfords Organize 3rd Blessing Bag Event for Homeless

MARMORA – Liam and Maeve Stanford of Ocean View organized their third Blessing Bag event at St Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Marmora.
According to a release, religious education students and volunteers assembled 96 food bags and 79 toiletry bags to benefit the efforts of Cape Hope and its outreach program to those experiencing homelessness.
Religious education students, their families, and church members donated items for the event. Items included toiletry items including shampoo, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and washcloths.
Food items were also donated such as tuna pouches, granola bars, and beef jerky.
