Shine the Light on Homelessness with Evening Walk and Memorial

By Press Release

RIO GRANDE — Code Blue is upon us. During this time, those who experience homelessness may stay in a warming center over-night in a church building to avoid the severe weather. The warming center in Cape May County is the West Wildwood Bible Church, located in West Wildwood.
To remember those who have died on the streets and those who currently experiencing homelessness, Cape Hope is hosting an evening walk and memorial, “Shine the Light on Homelessness” Dec. 9, 2016 at 6:30 p.m., beginning at the Martin Luther King Center in Whitesboro and will continue along the bike path ending in Rio Grande. The event will bring even greater awareness to the community, as well as remember those who have died due to their circumstances.
