Whitesboro MLK Homework Club Made Toolboxes in Hands-on Activity1

By Press Release

WHITESBORO – On a day when students do not traditionally have a lot of homework due to the upcoming holiday, Home Depot was able to give the students at the Whitesboro MLK Homework Club center the opportunity to participate in a hands-on activity.
Home Depot of Middle Township stopped by the center March 28 to help the students make toolboxes. The students ranging from kindergarten to fifth grade were able to use hammers and nails to put the boxes together and some also had the chance to paint their creations.
Homework Club is an afterschool club for students from Middle Township Elementary Schools and is a collaborative effort between the school and the Concerned Citizens of Whitesboro.
