Glenwood Avenue Elementary School
The second graders at Glenwood Avenue Elementary School walked canned goods and non-perishable food to the Wildwood Post Office on December 4th to donate to the annual food drive. While they were there, the post office staff gave them a lesson on the history of the USPS, a tour of the building, and taught them about what happens to a letter when it is mailed. Their trip to the Wildwood Post Office ended when each student excitedly mailed their “Letter to Santa.”
St. Ann Regional School
St. Ann Regional’s Varsity and JV basketball season kicked off with a pep rally on Friday in the gymnasium. St. Ann is a member of the Atlantic-Cape Junior High Athletic League with Regina Long as President
for St. Ann.
The cheerleaders led the players out as they were introduced and gym teacher John Fair was referee for the games. The students and athletes had a great time cheering and watching their fellow students in action. A DJ was on hand to provide the music as were students from Our Lady Star of the Sea.
