Lower Township School District To Hold Annual Planning, Evaluation Meetings

COLD SPRING – Lower Township School District will be conducting the annual planning meeting for the Elementary and Secondary Education Subgrant Application FY 2019, along with the evaluation meeting for the Elementary and Secondary Education Act Application 2017-2018. The meeting will be held at 10 a.m., June 8 in the Carl T. Mitnick School library.
The purpose of the meeting is to review and evaluate current programs, and to plan next year’s application for the covered programs. The Elementary and Secondary Education Act includes:
• Title I, Part A: Improving Basic Programs Operated by Local Education Agencies
• Title II, Part A: Supporting Effective Instruction
• Title III, Part A: English Language Acquisition, Language Enhancement, and Academic Achievement
• Title III, Immigrant – Enhanced Instructional Opportunities for Immigrant Children and Youth
• Title IV, Part A: Student Support and Academic Enrichment Grants
