Lower Cape May Regional Wins County Mock Trial Competition

COURT HOUSE — Lower Cape May Regional High School’s Mock Trial team was declared winner of the Cape May County High School Mock Trial Competition after winning seven out of eight possible trials during Cape May County’s five-week-long competition at the Cape May County Superior Court.
Annoucement of the winner was made by the Cape May County Bar Association, which sponsored the annual event.
Lower Cape May Regional High School Mock Trial Team will compete against the high school team winner from Ocean County in Round 1 of the Southern Regional Mock Trial Competition on Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick at 10 a.m.
The Lower Cape May Regional High School Team consists of Susan Booth, Tyler Hienkel, Frank Hineline, Rebecca Holden, Brooke Parker, Taylor Vendetta, Deavante Crews, Philip Falso, Haley Hennessy, Katie Pierce, Gordon Sayre, Martin Losasso, Nismah Osman, Alessa Antinori, and Nicholas Spinosa.
The team is headed by Teacher Coach Thomas Higgins, and Attorney Coach Barbara Bakley-Marino.
The Cape May County High School Mock Trial Program is sponsored by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation in cooperation with the Cape May County Bar Association and the Cape May County Superior Court.
