Around the County with Local Students- 7-1

COURT HOUSE — The following area students have either graduated or been named to the Dean’s List at their respective colleges:
Leslie Weidel of Cape May has been named to the Dean’s list at Springfield College for the winter/spring 2009 term. Weidel is a fourth-year student majoring in athletic training.
The following students have been named to the York College of Pennsylvania Dean’s List for the spring 2009 semester: Stacy Cathrall of Cape May, Craig and Kyle McClure of Green Creek.

Laura Kimberly Johnson of Court House graduated from Gettysburg College May 17 with a bachelor’s degree. She was a psychology major.

Kelli Marie Young daughter of Edward and Patricia Young of Court House, was awarded the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine May 31.

Local Students Earn Degree from Drew University: Kyle Bryan Nugent of Sea Isle City and Katharine Moyer Conwell of West Cape May.

The following local students were named to Dean’s List at the Universitiy of Scranton for the spring semester: Erin T. Kane, of Court House, Christina L. LaBounty, of Cape May, and
Gia Pittaluga, of Court House.

Izabela Irena Sinnerard, a resident of North Wildwood and a student at The Richard Stockon College, was recently awarded a $2,000 accounting scholarship from the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJSCPA) Atlantic Cape May Chapter.

James Hartman of Marmora, a senior majoring in sociology in the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences volunteered nearly 3,000 hours of service with Virginia Tech Hokie Ambassadors during the 2008-09 academic year.

Boston University awarded academic degrees to Winona Lieux, of Wildwood who received a Master of Music in Music Education. Also to Justin T. Jastrzebski, who received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Business Administration and Management.
