COURT HOUSE – Students considering attending Atlantic Cape Community College this fall can apply now for financial aid. The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
It is recommended students apply 10 weeks before the first day of the semester for which the aid is required. The forms cover the July 1, 2012-June 30, 2013 academic year, and students will need their completed 2011 tax return, if they filed, to apply. The sooner a student files, the sooner they know what type of aid they can expect.
Also, applicants should be aware of state financial aid deadlines, including:
• New Jersey 2011-2012 Tuition Aid Grant recipients should apply by midnight, Central Time, June 1, 2012.
• All other applicants should apply by midnight, Central Time, Oct. 1, 2012, for fall and spring terms; and March 1, 2013, by midnight, Central Time, for spring term only.
