Adult High School Offers A Second Chance

By Herald Staff

Looking for a second chance to earn a high school diploma?
The Adult High School at the Cape May County Technical School District provides adults, 17 years of age and older, an opportunity to complete their high school requirements on a part-time, evening, competency-based program schedule.
Applicants who are 17 years of age need a consent to participate form signed by a parent or legal guardian.
The program runs September to May, Tuesday through Thursday evenings, from 6 to 8. There is no charge for tuition or books and students can be scheduled for one or two nights per week as requested.
Prospective applicants are pre-tested prior to admission for program placement purposes; anyone who has passed the High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) may be exempt from the pre-test at the discretion of the admission committee.
Enrollment deadline is Oct.15. For information call the Adult High School Office, 188 Crest Haven Road, Cape May Court House, 465-2161, ext. 681.
